Schedule Options:

Responsibilities:

Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams
-
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions across the lifespan

Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed

Develop and document treatment plans in a timely, accurate manner

Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients
-
Request consultation or referral with other health care providers when appropriate

Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans

Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence-based care

Provide cross-coverage for tasks such as reviewing lab results
-
Offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program, with prior graduation from an accredited nursing school.
- Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license with maintained Registered Nurse (RN) licensure, in accordance with state requirements
- Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC
- Active RN compact license
- Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred)
- Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings
- Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations
- Ability to function within an integrated medical practice
- Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills
- Proficiency with technology and electronic medical records
- Maintain active Medicare status - In good standing with Medicare/Medicaid and not excluded from participation in federal health programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior telemedicine or video-based virtual care experience
- Experience with Athena EMR
