Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) is a not-for-profit health system serving the southernmost 16 counties of Illinois. The system operates four hospitals within 58 miles of each other, along with more than 30 clinics. Its staff includes over 4,000 employees, supported by more than 670 employed and affiliated physicians and advanced practice providers across 60 specialties.
SIH has provided $1.3 billion in charity care, unreimbursed care, and community benefits since 2014. The organization maintains a steadfast commitment to caring for all patients regardless of their ability to pay.
