Valley View Hospital is an independent, nonprofit health system that has served Colorado's mountain and western slope communities since 1955. Founded as a 22,000-square-foot facility with 35 beds in Glenwood Springs, it has grown into a 21-acre campus featuring over 400,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space with 78 beds. In 2024, the system received a five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) for overall hospital quality.
The organization operates an integrated healthcare network that includes physician practices, specialty centers, and hospital facilities, providing multi-disciplinary care across the health spectrum. Its geographic footprint spans multiple communities across western Colorado, including Glenwood Springs, Eagle, Silt, Grand Junction, and Basalt (Willits).
