The Nurse, Clinical Ops position is a remote role primarily responsible for supporting the clinical operations of CVS Specialty Pharmacy.
Responsibilities include:
Performs telephonic counseling to new patients on their disease process, prescribed drug action, common side effects and treatment parameters
Provides patient education directly or in response to telephonic inquires to patients.
Patient education will include but will not limited to the following areas:
o Chronic disease states such as , oncology, asthma, multiple sclerosis, cancer, hepatitis C, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, PAH, cystic fibrosis
o Current treatment modalities
o Common side effects and management.
o Adherence monitoring and outbound calls
Collaborates with physicians and their staff as needed to resolve clinical issues, obtain clinical data
or prescriptions
Assists in the training of new clinical staff on specific chronic illnesses and treatment modalities
Maintains nursing CEUS and seeks continuous learning opportunities
Practices with professionalism and accountability as an employee of CVS
Report ADEs
Other responsibilities as directed by senior management
Minimum (Required) Qualifications:
Current Active Multi-State Compact License to practice as a Registered Nurse in
working state
Minimum of 3 years experience in a clinical setting, Medical/Surgical preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft windows applications, Word, Excel, Power point,
Outlook, Microsoft Teams
Education:
Associates degree OR RN diploma OR BSN

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$26.01 – $68.55
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
