This position is remote and will require travel to school clinics.
Job Summary
Provides supervision of staff, clinical expertise, and oversight of all aspects of operations including patient care, customer service, budget, and risk management. Ensures compliance with organizational and ambulatory care policies, regulations and standards of care and practice and competency of clinical and non-clinical staff. Accountable for developing, monitoring and engaging team members and other resources to improve financial performance, patient experience, quality, safety, access and team member performance. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, developing and retaining staff with the goal of developing a highly reliable work team. Utilizes effective communication and interpersonal skills. Able to adapt leadership style to support achieving department goals and objectives.
BSN required; MSN preferred.
BLS required within 90 days of hire. Ambulatory experience preferred. Specialty certification preferred. Clinical and technical knowledge of the specific work being performed required. Previous supervisory/charge experience preferred.
Qualifications:
N-4YR – RN-Bachelor’s Level Degree (Required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Certification – American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State – Nursing License – North Carolina, Registered Nurse (RN) Single State – Nursing License – Virginia Department of Health Professionals (VADHP)
