Description:
This position will have responsibility for design and development of systems, processes, and communications to support the mission of Nephrology. To plan, direct, and oversee clinical service delivery in individual designated programs, to assure high quality, sustainable nephrology clinical outcomes.

- Maintains quality of care in individual programs by developing and managing quality initiatives;designation of quality measurements and regulatory reporting of quality outcomes.

- Serves as a liaison between physicians, regulatory bodies, vendors, and support departments (e.g.: DME, pharmacy, laboratory, quality management, utilization review, member relations).

- Serves as primary representative of the individual renal program in the Northwest Region in partnership with assigned nephrologist.

- Research the nephrology healthcare environment for innovative concepts and best practices, assimilate and comprehend the evidence, and develop practical applications for the program.
- Responsible for planning and implementation of program activities. Takes independent action and accountability for achieving successful results.

- Bachelors degree in nursing OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field working with renal patients.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
- This job requires credentials from multiple states. Credentials from the primary work state are required before hire. Additional Credentials from the secondary work state(s) are required post hire.
- Registered Nurse License (Washington) within 6 months of hire OR Compact License: Registered Nurse within 6 months of hire
- Registered Nurse License (Oregon) within 6 months of hire
- Drivers License (in location where applicable)
- Basic Life Support
- Leadership and/or case management experience.
- Excellent written/verbal communications; interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multi-disciplinary team within complex organizational structure.
- Able to work independently in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience working with renal patients.
- Coordination of patient care within a managed care system.
- Spreadsheet/database/word processing skills.
